Loans with fewer restrictions
Bank of Spain has just published the Bank Lending Survey of the third quarter of 2010, and in it, among others, reflects a real decrease in demand for loans of all types of lending, corporate, personal and mortgage and stability in conditions of financial institutions. Therefore, we are now in the lending environment a little more, but with fewer restrictions.
During the first two quarters of 2010, the same survey has highlighted the tightening of requirements for granting loans from banks or, affecting all sectors, are both business and personal level. However, it seems that this trend has been canceled, or at least stagnated in the third quarter, and the condition has been maintained.
A definitely will help, other main conclusions of this survey, is the decline in demand at all levels. That is, both companies and individuals reduce their demand for loans, given the economic situation we find ourselves.
The companies are in a clear process of domestic savings, trying to reduce their costs to minimum and financial interests is one of the strengths of this game. On the other hand, individuals are still cautious about the prospects for the future is not stable. Nobody wants to enter into loan obligations without really sure about their future career.
